I. Job Summary: Academic Expert

The Academic Expert will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of classroom sessions, trainer performance, and student assessments at Parul University. You will be responsible for enhancing the overall academic experience through the development and implementation of innovative strategies that support student success and Educator upskilling. You will also work closely with the educators, students, and various university departments to continually improve the learning environment and educational outcomes.

II. Key Responsibilities:

1. Classroom Session Engagement:

  • Assess and enhance the engagement level of classroom sessions.

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of teaching methods and materials.

  • Collaborate with faculty to develop engaging classroom strategies.

2. Educator Performance Review:

  • Continuously evaluate educator performance through consistent feedback

  • Develop and implement improvement plans to enhance educator effectiveness.

  • Support educators in their professional development and upskilling efforts.

3. Subject Expertise:

  • Ensure the implementation of fair and effective student assessments.

  • Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with faculty to develop strategies for enhancing student success.

4. Educator Collaboration:

  • Work closely with educators to provide constructive feedback and guidance.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in teaching methods.

  • Facilitate training workshops and professional development initiatives for faculty.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Compile regular reports on classroom engagement, trainer performance, and student assessment outcomes.

6. University Engagement:

  • Collaborate with required university departments to ensure academic excellence.

  • Communicate with students to gather feedback and implement relevant improvements.

7. Budget Management (optional)

  • Assist in the allocation of resources and budget planning for academic engagement initiatives.


  • A master's degree in a relevant technical discipline

  • Extensive experience in educational management or academic leadership.

  • Strong knowledge of pedagogical methods and assessment practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience in faculty development and training.

  • A commitment to promoting an inclusive and innovative learning environment.
